Ferre

We hope that more people will become acquainted with the inspiring story of Ferdinand Verbiest through our range of FERRE beers.

This story teaches us that knowledge, energy, creativity, openness and the willingness to work together can lead to some great results. And these are precisely the qualities we try to capture in our FERRE beers.

koeketiene

Koeketiene was Brewery Maenhout’s first beer. The story behind this beer starts in 2002 when the brewer first met his wife during a card game. Koeketiene refers to the ten of diamonds.

Blinde Mol

When looking for a decent “grasmaaierbier” (pale lager) we invented “Blinde Mol”. This is a pleasant and easy to drink beer to which we added some grassy flavors. The name refers to a creature that often makes it habitat in grassy fields, the blind mole.

kollusion

A Belgian secretly collaborates with an American, and they’re influenced by Russians? The result is Kollusion. A robust Russian Imperial Stout brewed in partnership by Brouwerij Maenhout and Boom Island (Minnesota, USA). Specially roasted coffee beans conspire with rich Belgian chocolate to create irrefutable evidence of collusion at its finest.
